Máncora is cheap and fun beach town resort in northwestern Peru. During the December to March summer period, Máncora, Peru's surfer's mecca, overflows with surfers, hippies, Rastafarians, and young sun worshippers from around the world. A plethora of restaurants provides fresh seafood straight off the boat as fuel for the long, lazy days. Máncora biggest attraction: the daytime waves for surfers and the parties at night.
