Kremlin and Red Square, Moscow

Kremlin - a historic fortified complex at the heart of Moscow; includes four palaces, four cathedrals and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers. The complex serves as the official residence of the President of Russia.

Kremlin and Red Square is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990.

There are "must see" Kremlin's parts, as well as its garden, courtyard and others:

- The Kremlin Wall Necropolis, a part of the Kremlin Wall overlooking the Red Square,

- The Kremlin Armoury, one of the oldest museums of Moscow,

- The Troitskaya Tower with a through-passage in the center of the northwestern wall ,

- The Arsenal, a large trapezoid two-storey building in the northern corner of the Moscow Kremlin which currently accommodates the Kremlin Regiment,

- The Moscow Kremlin Senate building, commissioned by Catherine II of Russia and designed by Matvey Kazakov.
